EGT Fiber
EGT fiber can improve nearly any arena, especially when sand has too much movement. It helps stabilize sand footing while adding traction, cushioning, and moisture retention. Fiber works best with specific sand types and specifications; finer, smaller sand particles generally perform better with fiber than larger, rounder particles. Footing Depot can help source the right sand if needed. In most cases, fiber is a strong upgrade for a sand arena.

FiberTec
FiberTec is a pre-consumer manufactured white fiber with a slightly stretchy backing. It is designed to improve footing stability while adding traction, cushioning, and bounce.

FiberTec - Western
FiberTec-Western Blend is designed to make footing more responsive. It adds traction, cushioning, and bounce while still allowing the horse’s feet to move through the surface.

Rebound Rubber - White
Rebound White Rubber is made of small pieces that blend well with sand footing. Its light color makes it visually appealing and less noticeable in the arena. White rubber adds cushion and energy, and when combined with fiber, it can create a high-performance footing blend. If arena sand has broken down and compacts quickly, adding sand with rubber can help reduce packing while improving cushion and surface response.

Rebound Rubber - Black
Footing Depot supplies a clean, high-quality source of black rubber. This virgin rubber is used for mats, not recycled tires, giving it a softer feel while keeping it clean and 100% metal-free.
Rubber helps reduce compaction by creating voids in the footing, which improves cushioning. It is an excellent additive for older, firmer arenas that need more life. Rubber can also be blended with fiber to create a strong footing mixture for arenas that need added support and performance.

Whoa Dust
Whoa Dust™ is an environmentally friendly dust-control product that helps keep dust down, retain moisture, and reduce watering needs by at least 50%. It works with most footing types, including arenas where calcium chloride has been used, and treatments can last up to 16 months.
Whoa Dust™ works by giving airborne dust particles a negative charge, causing them to settle instead of staying suspended in the air. This process also improves the footing’s surface feel, creating a more supportive and desirable texture for horse and rider.
